All About Shakespeare

I'm sure we all know exactly who Shakespeare is. In this article i'll tell you all about what his home life was like, As well as how his stage life was.

First we'll start off with one of his first plays. This play was called Henry VI, which was a historical play about an english civil war in which the play portrays evil in king Richard III

and Henry Tudor has to step up to the challenge and eventually leads the people to victory at the battle of bosworth. I wish i could've seen it in person! It's obvious that shakespeare was way ahead of his time.

Secondly, what is probably most people's favorite play by Shakespeare, "Romeo and Juliet." The tragedy of two lovers forbidden to be together that eventually drives them to their death. This was truly a masterpiece full of happiness, sorrow, pain, and love. It truly is a huge rollercoaster of emotions. If you think about one of Shakespeare's quotes: "All that glitters is not gold.",you could apply that to the story of "Romeo and Juliet." It may seem like Juliet had an amazing life yet, then as the story goes on her true self shows and her sorrow because of Romeo's death leads her to her own death.

Third, i'll write about another one of his most popular plays, "Hamlet." By far my most favorite play written by Shakespeare. Yet another tragedy, "Hamlet" is about a prince in Denmark who seeks revenge against his uncle who murdered his father so that he could seize the throne, and marry his nephews mother. Most of Shakespeare's tragedies end in the death of the main character. In this case, Hamlet was murdered by Laertes the son of Polonius.

These were all masterpieces in my opinion. I hope this article taught you more about a genius writer that was extremely talented in almost everything he did.
